Certified Sterility
Labplas sterile sampling bags use polyethylene that is extruded at temperatures ranging from 220° to 240° C to assure internal sterility of all bags. During the production process, the bag interior is never exposed to the outside environment, further assuring sterility right up to the moment the bag is opened by the user.
To certify sterility, all incoming material is lot sampled and tested. Tests for aerobic bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, yeast and moisture as well as 14-day growth tests (using trypticase soya broth and trioglycollate broth) are performed on the plastic material to confirm internal sterility prior to processing. Sterility documentation is included in every carton.
Independent testing has confirmed that Labplas Sterile Sampling Bags remain sterile for at least 5 years if unopened.
C-TPAT Certified partner
We are pleased to announce that Labplas is a certified partner in the United States Custom-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program. This status is supported by security measures that ensure our customers of the efficient release of goods and prompt resolution of U.S. Customs and Border Protection issues.
